CARRIE, CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Carrie began in ASEH’s emergency department in 2004, and has been
a devoted member of our surgery and ICU departments since 2006. A 2004
graduate of Brevard Community College’s Veterinary Technician
Program, Carrie was also the president of the Veterinary Technology
Club. Carrie received her CCRA (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant) in 2010. Professional areas of interest include rehabilitation,
assisting in surgery and the nursing aspect of her career.
Carrie shares her home with a Golden Retriever “Ivan” and her cats
“Banshee” and "Gus Gus". Away from ASEH, Carrie enjoys spending time with her
family, working out, camping, kayaking, and reading a good mystery novel. |

JODI, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Jodi joined ASEH’s surgery department in September 2007 and has
been in the veterinary field since 1999. Jodi prides herself in working
as part of the caring and skilled surgical team. Some of Jodi’s
professional interests include fracture repair and spinal surgery.
At home, Jodi has three dogs, “Jen” a Border Collie, “Buggy” a
Sheba Inu mix, “Taco” a Chow mix and three cats, “Cody”, “Ali” and
“Tinka”. In her time outside of work, Jodi enjoys music, inline skating,
reading, billiards, playing the saxophone, foreign languages and
cultures, and animals. |

MARTHA, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
A member of ASEH since December 2004, Martha joined our
emergency department after relocating from Connecticut. In 2006
Martha transferred to ASEH’s surgery department. Martha has a
strong love for animals and is proud to be part of our highly skilled
surgical team. Martha became certified in Veterinary Technology in
1984. Interests include inventory management and patient care.
Martha share’s her home with her two dogs “Amos” a Flat Coated
Retriever and “Angel” a Flat Coated Retriever/Australian Shepherd
Mix. In her time away from the hospital, Martha enjoys hanging out
with her dogs, gardening, going to the gym, reading and catching a
few Manatee Baseball games.

MEGAN, CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Looking to match her own high standards, Megan joined ASEH’s surgery department in March of 2006.
Megan has an Associates of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology and an Associates of Arts Degree
in General Education, both of which she graduated in with honors. Megan serves as the lead surgery
technician and enjoys the fast paced environment that the surgery department provides. Special
interests include anesthesia, pain management, and patient care.
Megan and her husband, Jake, share their home with a Basset Hound “Maximus” and “Diesel” a
Chihuahua mix. Outside of work, Megan enjoys reading, camping, fishing, traveling and walking her
dogs with her husband, as well as spending time with family, friends and laughing. |

GINA, CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Gina has been in the veterinary field since 1988 with the first ten years in a general practice. Gina
received her Associates of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2000 as part of the first
graduating class of the Brevard Community College Technicians Program. She has also earned an
Associates of Science Degree in Radiology, and holds veterinary technician certifications in both
Florida and New Mexico. Gina joined the internal medicine department in 2002, and is currently the
inventory manager and team leader. She is proud of the excellent care offered at ASEH. Special
interests include cytology and oncology.
Gina’s animal companions include, a cat “Ki Ki”, two dogs, “Sheba” and “Sheik”, and her horse
“Apache”. In her spare time, Gina enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding and
training, outdoor activities, music, and is an avid sports fan (Go Gators!). |

MICHELLE, CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Michelle has been working in the veterinary field since 2005. She obtained her Associated of Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2007 from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY. She relocated to Florida in 2008 where she worked for the University of Florida's Veterinary teaching hospital in Dermatology. She has been with ASEH since May 2010 and is well rounded in all areas of the hospital. She has worked in reception and the emergency department and is currently working with the internal medicine department.
Michelle's professional interests include: clinical nutrition, ultrasonography, small animal oncology, and dermatology.
Outside work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her friends, scrap booking, and exploring the many parks and nature preserves in Florida. She shares her home with her two cats "Stanley" and "Simon."

SARAH, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Sarah has been part of ASEH’s internal medicine department since
2006 and has worked in the animal care field since 2002. Sarah is
currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at St.
Petersburg College. She loves working with animals and is proud of
the high quality medical care offered at ASEH. Special interests
include critical care, small animal oncology, MRI case studies and
pharmacology.
Sarah share’s her home with her Papillion “Josie” and cat “Gary”.
Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with her animals, friends and
family, playing volleyball and lounging pool side soaking up the sun. |

ANNE, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Anne joined ASEH’s emergency department in 2008. Anne holds an Associates of Arts degree general education and is currently working on a Bachelors of Science degree at FIT in marine biology and aquaculture. She has been working in the veterinary field since 1997. Anne thrives on the energy that goes along with emergency medicine and is proud be part of a team that is able to help animals. She is able to empathize with owners and understands the close bond between a pet and it’s family.
Anne shares her home with “Trixie” a Miniature Schnauzer and a wide variety of aquatic organisms, along with her colony of salt-water fish. |

JENNIFER, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
After relocating from Montana, Jen joined the ASEH emergency team in 2005. Jen began her
veterinary career in 1995 and holds an Associates of Science degree in Veterinary Technology, which
she received in 2001 from Hartnell College in California. She is currently working towards a
Bachelors degree in conservation biology. Jen finds satisfaction in the high standard of care that she
helps provide to animals in need and the families that love them.
At home, Jen has a menagerie of pets that include her faithful companion “Mandy” a chocolate lab,
nine cats, four rescued sugar gliders and a hobby farm that consist of chickens, geese, quail, ducks
and peacocks. Outside work Jennifer spends much of her time at Canaveral National Seashore and
is actively involved in turtle rehabilitation. |

JOHN, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
John has been in the veterinary field since 1999 and part of ASEH’s
emergency department since June 2004. He holds an Associates of
Arts degree in general education and is currently enrolled in Keiser
University. John knows the importance of working as a team in the face
of a pet emergency or illness. With care and compassion he takes
pride in functioning as part of our highly skilled staff to ensure the best
care for each patient.
John shares his home with two dogs, ”Sam” and “Hannah”, two grey
squirrels “Dora” and “Pierre”, a ferret “Petunia”, a ball python “Sonny”,
three ducks, three turtles and a koi pond. When John is not busy with
work or school, he enjoys scuba diving, surfing and kayaking. He is
also into all types of triathlon endurance sports including Iron Man and
long distance races. |

MELISSA, CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Melissa is a graduate of St. Petersburg College, and has an
Associates of Arts degree in General Education, an Associates of
Science degree in Veterinary Technology and an Associates of
Science degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Melissa has been in
the veterinary field since 1996 and has experience in both general and
emergency medicine. She joined ASEH’s emergency team in 2007.
Melissa’s professional interests include ultrasonography, radiographs,
venipuncture and working closely with pet owners when the
unexpected brings them to seek emergency care.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys hanging out at the beach, outdoor
activities including canoeing and kayaking, and spending time with
her family and friends. Melissa share’s her home with her two cats
“Butterscotch” and “Smokey”.

KIMBERLY, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Kimberly graduated from the Bel-Rea Institute in Denver, Colorado in 2008. Since then, she has worked in small animal hospitals and emergency departments. When Kimberly moved to Oregon, she received her Veterinary Technician license.
Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys disc golf, going to the dog park with her two dogs Milo & Dolly, she's been learning to fish and LOVING it! She's also a domestic diva and really enjoys sewing, baking and has been learning to quilt!
Looking for a warmer climate, Kimberly recently moved to Florida. She now works for ASEH's emergency department. Kimberly happily lives close to work with her two chihuahua's "Dolly" and "Milo".

ANITA, RECEPTIONIST / OFFICE ASSISTANT
Anita has been working in the veterinary field since 1997. She has been part of ASEH team since
July 2006. Anita enjoys the day-to-day operations of the front office. She does an amazing job
utilizing her scrap-booking talents for the hospital, and proudly displays all of the cards, letters and
pictures that we receive from our clients.
Anita’s family pets include a German shepherd, “Shadow” and a Shih-Tzu mix “Ginger”. Outside of
work, Anita enjoys spending time with her large extended family, shopping, reading and camping.

WENDI, RECEPTIONIST
Wendi's first career as as a stay at home mom started 10 years ago. She is new to the Veterinary field and has been really enjoying the interaction with our clients and their furry 4 legged companions. Wendi has been raising 2 handsome boys and 1 beautiful daughter and decided to rejoin the work force with ASH part-time while her children are in school. Along with her husband and children, Wendi shares her home with a dog named "Izzie" a yorkie/schauzer mix.
Wendi and her family recently moved to Florida from Michigan (where she has lived her whole life) to finally escape the cold weather. In her free time, Wendi enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading, listening to music and just being outdoors in the beautiful Florida sunshine.

CRISTINA, RECEPTIONIST
Christina is one of our part-time receptionists. She has been involved in
the veterinary field for 10 years and has been with ASEH for 3 years,
initially working for the specialty departments during the week, and more
recently for the emergency clinic. She utilizes her medical transcription
skills throughout the hospital. Cristina is proud to be part of a team that
provides state of the art medical care and enjoys being involved in all
aspects of emergency care.
She and her family have a Border Collie ”Valentine” and a cat “Cupid”.
Cristina’s interests include camping, reading, movies, and enjoying the
outdoors. |

LINDA, OFFICE MANAGER
Linda joined ASEH in November of 2004 after relocating from New Jersey. She has been in the animal industry since 1990 in the veterinary field since 1993. Linda holds an Associates of Arts degree in Business Management and is working toward earning a Certification in Veterinary Practice Management. She is also a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. Linda enjoys working closely with the doctors and staff of ASEH to best serve the clients, their pets, and the referring veterinarians. She is extremely proud to be part of an enthusiastic team that is dedicated to providing high standards of care with compassion and grace. Most rewarding to Linda is when an owner shares their story of what a difference we made during even the most difficult of times.
Along with her family, Linda shares life with four cats, “Murphy”, “Misty”, “Meesu” and “Mia”, a Boxer named “Morgan”, her equine companion and therapist “Casper” and nine chickens. In her spare time she enjoys watching major and minor league baseball, going to the beach, kayaking, fishing, horse camping and trail riding.
